Valerie Hopkins

I am the founder of Humanitas, the original coaching consultancy, and have combined a career coaching senior executives with counselling and supporting disadvantaged young people. I started in the City as an analyst, followed by a diploma in adult education and 9 years as a Senior Lecturer in accounting at an FE college.

With a number of further counselling/psychological qualifications I then set up Humanitas to bring training in advanced listening skills, facilitation, coaching and mentoring to senior staff to help them develop emotional intelligence across their organisations.  I have sat on boards of various charities, presently Chair of Motiv8, helping disadvantaged young people in the Portsmouth area.
