Chet Behl

Chet Behl is an Entrepreneur, NED & asset manager. Working across the globe, Chet advised leading investment banks, hedge funds & pension houses on matters of Islamic finance, loan asset & non-core disposal programmes, aviation, shipping, hotels & real estate finance. In 2014 Chet was recognised for his achievements in the legal profession being nominated “UK Asian Professional of the Year”.

Chet went on to establish his own legal consultancy and in 2017 Chet was appointed Group General Counsel to the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure, Pay.UK. In 2019 Chet advised Santander Group on its strategic business realignment & structural transformation, with the development of new target operating & liquidity models for SantanderUK & Banco Santander. In 2020, Chet established “traWell”, The Wellness Tourism Company.

As well as a Visionnaire mentor, Chet also sits on the Board as Non-Executive Director to the Oxley Park Management Company.

“As an international corporate lawyer, I am General Counsel and advisor to investment and challenger banks including HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group, PayPal, Bank of Ireland & Santander. As an entrepreneur, I am CEO and Chair of three other businesses: providing student accommodation and key worker housing, traWell, a wellness tourism company, and an edu-tech business offering qualifications and certifications.

During my career I have worked in Dubai, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and London, advising on corporate finance transactions. I am also a Non-Executive Director to a real estate management company. As a mentor, I offer internships and apprenticeships within my businesses to help mentees gain hands-on experience”
