Dr Irene Brew-Riverson
Visionnaires Mentor
Dr Irene Brew-Riverson is the BA Business Management (Entrepreneurship) Course Leader at the University of Westminster. She has over twenty-five years of experience in Further Education. Her work as the coordinator of a Peter Jones Enterprise Academy from 2012-2019 has given her insights into how to support young people. In 2013, she won the Enterprise Champion Award from the National Association for Colleges and Universities Entrepreneurs. She was named Business Enterprise Manager of the Year by the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy in 2014 and runs a micro cake-making business and has a real estate project in Ghana, making her an ideal mentor for start-ups in the UK.
“I am an advocate of Entrepreneurship Education and spend most of my professional life working with organisations, would-be entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs at the University of Westminster. My recently completed thesis is about Enterprise Culture and its impact upon two London Colleges. I have recently contributed to a digital resource being developed by Pearson and have also been involved in reviewing digital chapters for a couple of organisations”.
