Angela Slocumbe

I trained at the London College of Fashion with Martin Shoben and Helen Stanley, and ran a successful pattern cutting, sampling, grading and operations management service. I completed a BA Comb. in Arts and Events Management going on to produce multi-disciplinary carnival arts programmes. I started Glorious Backstage Arts in 1998 providing exciting opportunities for emerging artists, costumiers and students to demonstrate their potential. As a qualified, experienced teacher I serve as a school governor and Executive Committee member for several charities including the Notting Hill Mas Bands Association. We all start somewhere! With the right mind-set, determination and guidance it’s amazing what can be accomplished.
